Two ways to use it
Just the essentials
The default. Quotas, sessions and agents. Bushido never reads or judges your own agent setup.
With the Bushido code
Optional. Bushido creates a new harness folder, keeps it in Git, and wires its instructions and skills into Claude Code, Codex and OMP. It also checks what your agents load. Turning it off removes only what Bushido added.
Install
- Windows
- Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit. Run the downloaded installer. It is not code-signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen may stop it: choose More info, then Run anyway.
- macOS
- Apple silicon or Intel. Open the download and move Bushido to Applications. It is not code-signed yet, so the first time macOS says it cannot check it: open System Settings, then Privacy & Security, scroll down to the message about Bushido and choose Open Anyway. On macOS 14 or older you can right-click Bushido and choose Open instead.

- A short guide helps you choose how to use it, finds your agents and picks the subscriptions to watch. Skip it any time and reopen it from Settings.
